Nightlife Manager for Vibrant Waterfront Hot Spot!

CALLING ALL HOSPITALITARIANS! Located in the heart of Greenport Village on the North Fork of Long Island lives Claudio’s Restaurants - a premier waterfront property with 4 incredible culinary venues, a marina that can accommodate boats up to 120 feet, and private event spaces providing for a full and fun environment for guests and team members alike. This operation is overseen by NYC based group Seasoned Hospitality.

Claudio’s Restaurants is seeking a passionate and experienced Nightlife Manager to lead this season’s team in our Nightlife Program. The applicant must have a solid foundation in nightlife and beverage control, along with a drive to train and educate the team, while maintaining a fun and respectful work environment in this high-volume operation. The applicant must also be comfortable with several technology platforms including Toast POS, Open Table, and Seven Shifts for scheduling and labor control.


The Nightlife Manager will work directly with the principals of NYC based Seasoned Hospitality Strategy & Management, which oversees the overall property to enhance this already core component of the business.

The candidate will possess a passion for food and beverage, along with a strong all-around skill set to oversee all aspects of Nightlife operations, including interacting with our Music Programming Manager and Director of Marketing & Public Relations. The candidate must also develop the new ‘Bottle Host’ position, ensuring our nightlife lounge service reaches maximum revenue potential while ensuring a great guest experience by being on the floor, interacting with guests and Team Members. Two late-night services will be balanced with three evening management shifts.

These abilities must be matched with a commitment to provide exceptional overall service with a sincere sense of hospitality through leadership and mentorship. The candidate must have the ability to handle a compressed opening timeline including interviewing and training staff along with launching this diverse operation for the season.

Job Description and Requirements:

  • Must have solid history in nightlife operations, and a strong overall background in food & beverage.

  • Be proactive, motivational, and mentoring with both front and back of house staff

  • Ability to interact with other venue managers to ensure strong communication and the overall success of Claudio’s

  • Actively participate as team member with our property-wide organization

  • Work with the Beverage Manager and Marketing Director to develop and implement unique promotions with suppliers and vendors

  • Recruit, Interview, and train team members.

  • Review and updating of training materials.

  • Continuously work at implementing, adhering to and fine-tuning systems and procedures including those related to door operations and bottle service.

  • Upkeep and maintenance of the facility and its equipment.

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards throughout the facility in compliance with SCDOH standards.

  • Ensure that compliance with all COVID-19 related restrictions and regulations are adhered to including “leadership by example” with all team members.

  • Ability to handle significant seasonal volume while maintaining an overall sense of quality and consistency.

  • A strong understanding of operations software and systems including Seven Shifts, OpenTable and Toast POS as well as leading in the new implementation of task management and private event applications.

  • Follow all cash handling procedures.

  • Ability to manage front and back-of-house labor cost.

  • Involvement in monthly beverage inventories through our software system.

  • A working knowledge of restaurant profit and loss statements and other financial reports

  • Suffolk County Food Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain.
