Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position can be performed 100% remote however, will be based out of our Redondo Beach, California office.


Position can be performed 100% remote.


Entry-level opportunity within the Supply Chain organization offering unlimited growth potential!


Essential Functions:



  • Initiates Requests for Quotations and Proposals and receives same, analyzing proposed pricing from potential suppliers

  • Schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives

  • Analyzes and aggregates supply / demand requirements. Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.

  • Issues purchase orders

  • Report out status on behalf of team in weekly program meetings

  • Receives/reviews requirements for non-standard parts.

  • Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements.


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree, or at least 4-years of related business experience in lieu of a degree. Business experience needs to be in subcontracts, contracts management, supply chain, production, proposal price/cost analysis, and/or strategic sourcing.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar purchasing software

  • Experience working within a Government approved purchasing system

  • Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation industry








Salary Range: $51,200 USD - $84,500 USD






Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
