Research Associate II/III - Mammalian Cell Culture - #196291

Piper Companies is actively seeking a Research Associate II/III for a growing biotechnology company in Raleigh-Durham, NC that is utilizing chromatin sciences and epigenetics to further cures for challenging diseases. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience working with mammalian cell culture. The Tissue Culture Research Associate II/III will adhere to a Monday-Friday, 9-5, schedule.

Responsibilities of the Research Associate II/III:

• Take an active role in establishing cell lines and supporting R&D
• Leverage skills in aseptic techniques, Western Blots, and maintain adherent/suspension cell culture
• Participate in sequencing and tissue culture activities
• Complete data analysis as needed

Qualifications of the Research Associate II/III:

• B.S./M.S. in a scientific discipline + 2 years of related tissue culture experience
• Hands on experience with mammalian cell culture
• Strong understanding of epigenetics preferred, but not required

Compensation of the Research Associate II/III:

• Salary: $60 - $65k, based on relevant experience and degree
