The Global Operations Manager, SMB Growth role is an exciting opportunity to drive operational rigor and workflow excellence for TikTok's global acquisition ads development. This is a key role in customer acquisitions segment of the SMB GBM team, charged with helping shape our SMB acquisition marketing strategy and managing execution globally. Success in this position will require solutions-oriented project management and operational innovation for cross-vendor efficiency. We're seeking candidates who bring to the table meaningful experience and demonstrated success in scaled operational excellence in fast-paced environments, ideally in the digital marketing realm. A growth mindset and collaborative spirit is also critical. And above all, candidates must have a passion for TikTok and come ready on Day 1 with ideas to help propel our SMBs, and the platform, into a successful future.


  • Support development of comprehensive TikTok SMB paid acquisition advertising strategy

  • Ensure TikTok's various creative agencies, transcreation vendors, and other partners supporting ad assets have seamless timelines, workflows and collaboration

  • Manage all approval processes with cross-functional teams, Legal, and PR on global scale, such as research citation tracking, feedback routing and approvals database

  • Work directly with regional team counterparts to assess content needs and support as needed with production

  • Collaborate with cross-functional creative teams to maintain TikTok's content management system (DAM), such as asset tracking and creative agency training

  • Share ownership of marketing targets on ad asset development and asset quality

  • Collaborate closely with counterparts in other regions to co-develop creative ideas, learnings, and efficiencies

  • Regularly report on strategy progress, opportunities, and challenges


  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant operations, project management, agency traffic, or ads marketing role; experience working in a global team a plus

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with experience in problem solving, global approvals, resource allocation, and task dependencies

  • Must be able to foresee timeline conflicts and take quick action when schedules go off course

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, while juggling multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work closely with external agencies and cross functional team members in charge of asset strategy, development and launch

  • Comfortable learning new software to manage asset requests, timelines, and hand-offs

  • Confident, with a positive disposition and ability to be calm under intense pressure, as well as firm or flexible as the situation requires

  • Team player with a can-do attitude, and with the ability to work independently or collaboratively with multiple people and/or teams

  • Passion for TikTok

  • Bonus points for in-depth expertise in at least one of the following areas:

1) design/content production, 2) content/brand strategy, and/or 3) measurement/analysis
