The Marketing Science team at Facebook is actively seeking a full-time and experienced Measurement Solutions Specialist. A Solutions Specialist at Facebook works globally across Marketing Science to represent advertiser needs with measurement product & partnerships and collaborates with Product Marketing on the go-to-market strategy for these solutions. The person in this role drives coordination and execution within Marketing Science across all regions. Success in this position requires a strong understanding of how salespeople, agencies and businesses within the digital advertising ecosystem measure advertising performance. An understanding of the advertising measurement ecosystem is required, from both a technical and a strategic perspective.Facebook is seeking exceptional candidates to join the Marketing Science team: we’re looking for people with strong analytical and critical thinking skills as well as familiarity with large data sets and data manipulation tools. To successfully represent client needs to Product and effectively support go-to-market with clients, the candidate should be able to work cross-functionally with teams such as Product Marketing, Product, Partnerships, global Marketing Science and Business Marketing, etc






Measurement Solutions Specialist Responsibilities:



  • Provide a globally representative & prioritized view of advertiser measurement needs to our Measurement Product and Partnerships teams through input client immersions and from our client facing teams
  • Be a trusted partner to our Measurement Product, Partnerships and Product Marketing teams and seen as a technical expert for the client
  • Work closely with the product marketing, product management and engineering team to deliver world-class products, including driving prioritization decisions
  • Be the technical Product resource for Marketing Science, delivering advanced training for Marketing Science Partners on measurement interfaces
  • Lead the development of product positioning, materials, and training for marketing science, sales and clients
  • Partner closely with cross-functional partners such as Product Marketing, Product, Partnerships, global Marketing Science and Business Marketing







Minimum Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of experience w/Masters or 7+ years of experience w/ Bachelors in digital technology, advertising, advertising technology or relevant fields
  • Experience independently scoping and executing research projects with clients and/or cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience analyzing and manipulating data sets to understand patterns and provide insights
  • Track record of influencing behavior at a variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional leaders
  • Client-facing experience, including experience driving change through adoption of new products or research methods
  • Interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience communicating technical content to all types of audiences
  • Experience with digital advertising measurement methods and technologies
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data-sets, statistical software such as R, SPSS, SAS as well as data extraction tools such as Hive and/or SQL
  • Experience with field experiments, experimental design, survey sampling, and/or panel data







Preferred Qualifications:



  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field or an MBA
  • Experience with digital advertising for brand and DR outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience working with engineering, product management, design, data science and research functions
  • Experience setting product priorities and managing and communicating tradeoffs
