Key Role:


Provide program support for a government client. Maintain responsibility for product ownership of the Asset Management solution. Develop and maintain product schedule and scope, elevate risk, and maintain quality delivery of capabilities, services, and deliverables associated with Asset Management to include Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Configuration Management and Vulnerability Management. Work with supporting teams, including architects, engineers, data integration, procurements, and quality assurance to ensure timely and quality delivery of capabilities and services throughout the period of performance. Facilitate discussions with key stakeholders on product statuses, working sessions, technical exchange meetings, and milestone reviews.





PoP/Duration:


7 months with the possibility of extension.





Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree and 5 Years of work experience OR Master's degree and 3 Years of work experience OR a minimum 7 years of work experience as a Product Owner in lieu of a degree.


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience describing and discussing data-driven, value-seeking Product Management Practices to conduct solution improvements and strategic planning


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in cyber security


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in agile development approach and in-depth usage of common agile tools and methodologies.


  • Minimum 2 years of experience defining and creating enhancement requests, user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing backlog to include organization-specific requirements and developing cyber security solutions


  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in collaborating with engineers, and agency teams


  • Working knowledge of software development processes and product lifecycle


  • Working knowledge of DHS SELC processes and gates


  • Demonstrable experience in presenting product concepts to senior leaders through presentations


  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills to engage with engineering teams, product manager and project managers.


  • Possess strong analytical, problem solving and diagnostic skills.


  • Possess strong emphasis on teamwork and close collaboration across all roles and functions


  • Possess strong attention to detail




Additional Qualifications:



  • Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.


  • Experience using Jira to manage software/ product development


  • Experience with ForeScout, Cisco ISE, Splunk, BigFix, Tenable Nessus, and Elasticsearch a plus


  • Prior Federal Government/Government/large scale corporate working experience


  • Ability to learn and apply new concepts, including a history of self-teaching and learning through doing


  • Ability to interface with senior leadership


  • Ability to prioritize and react to changing requirements with a sense of urgency


  • Ability to envision a big-picture vision at an enterprise level and the drive to make that vision a reality.


  • Knowledge of products in the desired industry space


  • Agile certifications


  • Security+ or CISSP
