REPORTS TO: Site Manager

This role serves as a member of the store’s leadership team and ensures the effective and efficient functioning of the store’s overall retail operations. The Lead I is a coach and will direct and motivate the store’s team members to deliver top results.


  • Maintain various reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis

  • Assist with the review and maintenance inventory procedures (daily, weekly)

  • Assist with vendor ordering and review of invoicing (daily, weekly)

  • Order, clean, rotate merchandise (Check expiration dates and face-off product)

  • Check-in and meet with vendors

  • Price and stock merchandise, build displays

  • Learn and become proficient with daily data collection and input into the system

  • Process invoices, mark-ups, mark-downs, and price changes

  • Assist in training and motivating store employees (safety, maintenance, cleaning, etc.)

  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service (assist customers when needed)

  • Perform cashier and attendant duties

  • Assist with maintaining the store’s site image inside and out (cleaning, stocking, etc.)

  • Enforce and abide by all corporate policies and procedures

  • Operate cash register to enter a convenience store and gasoline purchases

  • Account for all monies, cigarettes and lottery tickets on shift

  • Assist in cooking convenient store food if applicable

  • Light janitorial duties – collect and dispose of trash, wash windows, clean and maintain equipment, lot car wash building

REQUIREMENTS • Minimal education of high school graduate or GED • Experience with handling money • Must be flexible to work various schedules (weekends, holidays, overtime as needed) • Must have the ability to accurately handle money • Must have strong attention to detail • Must possess excellent verbal and communication skills • Must have excellent customer service skills • Must be capable of effectively communicating with customers and employees • Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
