The Greene County Health Department is seeking a Clerk to greet patients, collect fees for service, answer phones, obtain confidential information from patients, enter information into computer, and file paperwork. Other duties as assigned in support of management and staff. Requires good customer service and computer skills. The schedule for this position will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:00a.m.-5: 00p.m., Tuesday 8:00a.m.-7:00p.m. and Friday 8:00am-2:00p.m.

Minimum Qualifications:
A High school graduate or GED AND Two years of general office or administrative experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Medical experience and bilingual skills preferred.

Annual salary $31,000 plus generous benefits include 13 paid holidays, annual and sick leave, health insurance, and retirement plans.

Job Responsibilities

Under general supervision, performs a variety of general secretarial, clerical, and administrative support functions/processes or a few specialized or essential clerical functions in support of a unit or office and related personnel. May enter data and/or process documents and records. The work includes operating standard office equipment. Work is performed under the general supervision of a clerical or administrative supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED AND Two years of general office or administrative experience.
