SUMMARY:


Partner is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist to be sponsible for all phases of employee reimbursement activities for the company.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS:



  • Process all payables entries insuring accuracy and proper account coding

  • Answer AP group/Travel and Expense emails in a timely manner

  • Schedule and perform check runs and/or ACH payments consistent with vendor requirements

  • Process check requests on a daily basis

  • Utilize Chrome River Expense to review, process and analyze employee expense reports

  • Schedule and perform check runs and/or ACH payments consistent with employee reimbursement policy

  • Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure timely booking of all project expenses

  • Reconcile corporate credit card accounts for all employees

  • Process all payables entries insuring accuracy and proper account coding


OTHER DUTIES & TASKS



  • Prepare required month-end and year-end schedules and reports as needed;

  • Coordinate with the outside audit team and provide assistance as needed;

  • Other duties as assigned by Management.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES



  • Knowledge in employee expense tracking software;

  • Proficiency in MS Office with strong command of MS EXCEL functions;

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize various tasks;

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with both internal and external clients;

  • Strong attention to detail;

  • Ability to work in a team environment;

  • Research skills with ability to follow through to resolve problem situations;

  • Understand and maintain complete confidentiality of all company and client financial information.

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Education: Associates Degree preferred in Accounting or a related field; equivalent work experience in accounts payable may be substituted for education requirement.



  • Experience: 1 – 2 years of accounting experience desired

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



  • Communications: Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

  • Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person or over the phone

  • Speaking: Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the phone

  • Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens



  • Physical:

    • Frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift

    • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and perform manual responsibilities

    • Some lifting may be required on occasion, help will be provided if needed
