Operates light motor vehicles for maintenance, construction, transportation and delivery throughout the campus
Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:
1. Operates utility cart to remove trash from outdoor receptacles across campus
2. Operates automobiles, light trucks, tractors and other equipment in order to haul, move, and deliver materials on, to, and from campus
3. Maintains vehicles such as cars, light trucks, and tractors by seeing that they are serviced regularly and by personally correcting and repairing minor problems
4. Performs physical labor related to moving, hauling, construction, and snow removal
5. May direct the work activities of part-time and newly hired laborers to ensure that they understand and accomplish their respective job objectives
6. May perform related duties as directed by the supervisor
Comments:
This position is for general use throughout campus and the job responsibilities will dictate the type of license needed for the job
Minimum Qualifications
A valid Utah’s Drivers License; the ability to move heavy objects; and positive customer service skills required. A Commercial Driver’s License with a chauffeur’s endorsement may be required if the job responsibilities require the exclusive transportation of passengers, such as for the shuttle bus or VA van
