Position Summary

The Lift Team Technician will perform safe patient handling and movement. Communicates effectively with patients, families and members of the health care team. Maintains patient handling and lift equipment. Provides education related to Lift Team Program and safe patient handling and movement. Participates in Quality Improvement activities.


Minimum Requirements

  • High School or equivalent required
  • Less than 1 year in a healthcare setting, EMT, NAI, Firefighter experience and knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and/or exercise physiology preferred
  • American Heart Association BLS certification obtained within 2 months of employment
  • Must successfully complete physical demands assessment prior to employment
