Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, we want you to join our team as a JSTARS Heavy Aircraft Avionics Technician 3. This position is located at Lake Charles, LA. You will support the JSTARS Boeing 707 aircraft Major Isochronal/PDM maintenance activities with the ultimate goal of a quality and on-time delivery back to the War Fighter. You will perform a multitude of Avionic tasks including: Installs, tests, troubleshoots and repairs aircraft avionics and electrical system components in accordance with testing, engineering, maintenance and installation directives. LCPDM

Basic Qualifications: 1. High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and a minimum of 4 years of heavy aircraft avionics technician experience. 2. Ability to be subject to a variety of physical conditions 3. Able to wear a respirator and other safety gear 4. Ability to be subject to areas which could cause various phobias due to height or closed spaces

Preferred Qualifications: 1. A&P license or 5 years of heavy aircraft avionics technician experience. 2. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex avionic systems and subsystem malfunctions using various schematics and wiring diagrams 3. Ability to understand and effectively use avionic related test equipment such as Barfield Test Set, Jet Cal Test Set, 4. Ability to use Fluke meters and digital multi-meters
