Overview:


Is responsible for accuracy of patient demographic data; performs admitting/registration/cashier functions; greets the public with a positive, caring attitude; exhibits professionalism; demonstrates respect and courtesy for others and must be able to ask patient's for deductibles and co-pays at the time of service.


Qualifications:



  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Computer keyboard skills.
  • Other: Assists with moving, lifting, carrying supplies and equipment. Considerable reaching, stooping-bending, kneeling, crouching. Able to distinguish sounds, colors, and odors. Must be able to lift 25 lbs or more.
  • Preferred Education: Post secondary education preferred.
  • Preferred Experience: Familiar with health insurance and medical terminology and computer skills.
  • Preferred Other: Excellent communication skills, ability to collect monies & pleasant personality. Competent to provide services to patients of all ages. Advanced computer skills preferred, excel, word, etc. copier, and fax.
