Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Field Supervisor, will assist in satellite kitchen operations of SAS. Requires the ability to work with off-site production kitchen and independently on-site. Must be neat, clean, alert and meet the District Uniform Requirements. Be accurate and have the ability to communicate effectively with building administrators, parents, co-workers, students and others as needed. Position requires the ability to stand for up to 2.5 hours per shift and the ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Requires the ability to problem solve and be flexible in a variety of food preparation and service circumstances; knowledge of food service routines and procedures and the ability to plan work. Must be able to model a positive, caring attitude towards students and staff. Requires the ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations. Must possess the ability to work with large and small equipment such as: combi and convection ovens, range, dishwasher, steamer, steam jacketed kettle, microwave, garbage disposal, hot cabinet, mixer, point of sale system, which includes cashiering and computers. Must be committed to the Strategic Plan Mission Statement and Objectives.



Salary: $
17.50-$20.84 per hour, depending on experience (2020-2021 Food Service Salary Schedule; Subject to Change)



Work Year:
192 days per year (includes 11 paid holidays) 3.0 hours per day



Benefits:
Consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the District and United Classified Workers Union Local #4795
