  • Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or an aviation related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience working in SQL to interpret and analyze large sets of data with accompanying business recommendations
  • 3+ years in Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management
  • 3+ years of professional work experience in Excel

Amazon Air Global Technical Operation is seeking an experienced candidate to identify, create, develop, and integrate innovative solutions and programs that lead to process improvements in the Airframe Heavy Maintenance/Technical Operations team. This position will have an opportunity to create metrics to measure vendor management and contractual performance. The position will also support the business operations for all Airframe Heavy Maintenance activities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead projects from conception to execution



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Design and develop automated reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions
  • Lead/participate in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities
  • Map, document, and implement process improvements
  • Data mining and modeling
  • Identify process and system improvement opportunities by monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams
  • Engage the internal/external stakeholders to meet and exceed fleet reliability KPI’s
  • Support business operations and create efficient solution processes
  • Create cost variance modeling to identify, track, and implement cost reduction opportunities
  • MBA
  • Experience in communicating across all levels of management, peers, and vendors
  • Passion for commercial airline/aviation industry
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment with little guidance or supervision
  • Ability to manage through conflict with a positive, flexible and professional attitude
  • Experience and/or general knowledge of aviation technical operations and maintenance program
  • Experience in contract administration/management
  • Experience in Tableau and dashboard creation tools
