Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to:
Manages EMR systems and end users across defined Market facilities. Provides first level support, training and project management for current clinic based EMR to market End Users. Also provides first level support for any clinic based EMR to market end users regarding basic application, hardware and service/network requests. Responsible for recruiting, training, and managing clinic EMR support staff (Super users).
- Provides support and training for End Users of current clinic EMR
- Travels to all Market facilities to provide necessary support/management
- Manages EMR support staff (Super users)
- Coordinate the procurement, configuration, and setup of computers, peripherals and phones for new practices and provider office moves
- Provides telephone, in-person, and online support to staff
Education: Associates Degree or Equivalent experience - required
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology field: Preferred
Working knowledge of current EMR systems: Preferred
PC and peripheral configuration, installation, repair and maintenance experience: Preferred
Hospital or medical information systems experience: Preferred
Strong knowledge of meaningful use and related applications: Preferred
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, strong communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be self-motivated and able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Proficient customer service skills and the ability to work well with other is a must. Candidate should be approachable and easy to work with.
