Univision Radio, Inc. is looking for a Production Specialist with a passion for audio production to join its team of editors. The successful candidate will fulfill production requests for terrestrial and digital radio stations

Job Responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing production requests submitted by Sales, Traffic, or Content in vPPO from vCreative or through other communication platforms using a non-linear digital audio workstation such as Adobe Audition or AVID Pro Tools
  • Other functions include collaborating on designated projects, script writing, brainstorming, suggesting creative ideas for campaigns, promotions, and PSAs, assisting talents when needed, recording voices for spots, and assisting the production hub directors
  • Candidate must be able to work in a team environment which includes fellow producers, editors, copywriters, account coordinators, and account executives
  • The successful candidate must possess the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, deliver the best quality work consistently, and promptly complete all the assigned work
  • An important ability the candidate must have is to assist the production director with the order delegation and workload management when requested (usually when the director is out-of-office)

Required Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of commercial radio or audio production
  • Strong recording and non-linear editing skills
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Audition and/or AVID Pro Tools
  • Proficiency cleaning up, equalizing, and compressing voice overs, editing in a multi-track environment, and using audio plugins for sound design and mixing

  • Must be highly motivated, energetic, nimble, and organized
  • Must be proactive, self-starter, and team player
  • Candidate must possess strong communication and organizational skills
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Spanish
  • Minimum of two years of audio production experience required. College degree preferred

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be willing to work from a Univision production studio in California or Las Vegas
  • Employment/education will be verified
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a part-time & full-time basis

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, edit, reach, and sit for up to (8) hours
