The Enrollment Management Department has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Applications Analyst to work in Coral Gables, FL

The Applications Analyst will support Enrollment Management (EM) for the ongoing development and enhancement of all related activities. This individual will have a record of success in analyzing processes and crafting creative solutions. This individual will work closely with the Assistant Directors of EM Operations to identify, enhance and develop new business processes and system updates

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the accuracy and integrity of data across systems and recommends needed changes or improvements
  • Import and export inquiry/applicant data and documents to/from Slate
  • Troubleshoots data issues, writes queries, and advises and trains users on how to use various student systems and applications related to the enrollment process
  • Participates in overall management of Slate including, testing, training, updates and creation of rule automations, forms, communications, and creation of workflows and operations to support Enrollment Management
  • Participate in the Slate community to identify best practices, trends, and new opportunities for workflow and system enhancements to streamline processes and increase effectiveness of the tool
  • Analyzes data and creates custom reports for use by Enrollment Operations, Undergraduate Admission, and Marketing
  • Partners with end users to gather all requirements to formulate specifications and translates those into business functionality
  • Develops, edits and maintains business process documentation for Enrollment Management
  • Participate in the evaluation, scope, and completion of system enhancements
  • Participates in creating and maintaining procedural documentation and training materials
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in systems, analytics, and/or higher education. Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Proficient technical and analytic skills tied to Slate CRM
  • Knowledge of Peoplesoft Campus Solutions and Hyland OnBase preferred
  • Working knowledge of data management concepts including relational databases and system maintenance
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Able to proficiently demonstrate project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and independently, be creative, adaptable, and proactive in problem identification and resolution
  • Experience working in a deadline-oriented environment, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements in Slate and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
