All Saints Catholic School (ASCS) is currently accepting applications for a Teacher Assistant for the 2021-2022 academic school year.



About All Saints Catholic School:

All Saints Catholic School (ASCS) is a PK through 8th grade school offering exceptional faith based educational experiences, STEM based school programs and activities for students. Our faculty is comprised of a highly motivated spiritual team, with small sized classrooms, driven by teamwork and results.



Position Summary:

Assist the lead teacher in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children that is supportive and encouraging for developmental learning and growth. Assist and aide in lesson planning and implementation. Ability to interact warmly and lovingly to children, work as a team player, get along with co-workers and demonstrate respectful language and interactions with supervisor. All trainings provided and paid for by the employer.



Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent (required). Some College (preferred). Experience working with elementary or middle school aged students preferred but not required.

  • Assist in managing classroom and/or small groups.
  • Adhere to school policies.
  • Communicate daily outcomes to lead teacher.
  • Maintain professional appearance.
  • Demonstrate fairness and respect to all students and staff.
  • Commitment to fulfill assignment duties.
  • Travel to school by designated arrival time.
  • Utilize online technology to enhance classroom education that can easily transition to distance learning.
Job Requirements include:
  • High School or equivalent (Required).
  • Be able to use technology, conduct and attend virtual meetings.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Strong soft skills – including interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish professional working relationships with, parents, teachers and administrators.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Some experience working with school-age children in education preferred, but not required.
  • Must be receptive to working with grades PK – 8.
  • First Aid/CPR qualified (Desirable but not required).
