Environmental O&M/LDAR Technician – Concord, CA

Trihydro, one of the top environmental and engineering consulting firms in the country, has an opening for an Environmental O&M/LDAR Technician. The Technician will join our Petroleum and Petrochemical Services team. If you have a knack for field work, we encourage you to apply!

In your role as an Environmental Technician, you will assist with air quality monitoring associated with Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) monitoring programs and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) monitoring programs, as well as other regulatory activities in a petroleum, gas processing, ethanol or chemical facility setting. Additional responsibilities include groundwater monitoring, remedial infrastructure operation and repair, and site maintenance. Applicants must have a clean driving record and a demonstrated commitment to safety. This position will require field work and some travel. A basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail is preferred. Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and have an ability to learn various database programs.

The preferred candidate will be based in our office in Concord, CA.

Our Petroleum and Petrochemical Services team is looking for someone who has:

  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables

  • Direct industry employment history within an industrial setting, or a related field

  • Attention to detail

  • Proven track record of dependability

This position requires the following:

  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables

  • Direct industry employment history in environmental compliance, within an industrial setting, or a related field

  • Ability to work independently in an industrial setting

  • Acceptable written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team members

  • Acceptable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices

  • Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing project deliverables on schedule

  • Dependable, with the ability to work in a team environment

  • Must be capable of working independently

  • Clean driving record

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) from the Transportation Security Administration

  • Ability to travel to client sites, including travel overnight up to 30% of the time
