Under the direction of the Director supervises and participates in all activities of the Food and Nutrition Services operations. Involved in and has direct responsibility for issues with food quality, food preparation, food service sanitation, patient and customer services. Must be able to understand and follow all hospital policies and procedures as well as Food and Nutrition Services departmental policies and procedures. Problem solving ability. Maintain harmonious relationship with all departments and employees. Ability to supervise and make job assignment in both Dietary and Environmental Services. Is directly responsible for all general daily activities of the department. Good public relation skills, requires courtesy and tactfulness at all times.




  • Ability to read and write, perform basic math calculations, complete units of measurement used in food preparation.

  • Serve Safe Certification obtained within 90 days of hire.

  • Supervisory experience in food service or related field

  • Culinary or CDM preferred.
