The Master Data Analyst, ERP is responsible for the coordination and setup of GMP master data, testing, reporting, and manufacturing support of Oracle (ERP) and associated boundary systems to maintain a compliant, effective, and efficient operation that meets or exceeds site goals and objectives. Will own creation and management of GMP master data and ensuring the quality of the data, managing compliance to the data standards and policies as established by the quality assurance, and advocating for data use cases within the business. An effective data specialist maintains agreed-upon data definitions and formats, identifies data quality issues and ensures that business users adhere to specified data standards.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • You will be working closely with Supply Operations, Manufacturing, QA, Finance, IT, Logistics, and other business functions to ensure master data accuracy for GMP operations in Oracle ERP
  • Establish a formalized process for gathering accurate master data elements in a timely manner from business partners in Supply Operations, QA, Manufacturing, Finance, IT, and other functional areas
  • Standardize master data setups, and perform periodic maintenance of master data to ensure accuracy across sites
  • Collaborate within the department and with manufacturing, quality control, quality assurance, IT, and supply chain organization to determine business requirements for the design of master data
  • Maintain the Material BOM & Recipe release process to meet manufacturing requirements and to maintain compliant, efficient, and reliable batch records and supporting data
  • Develop and execute cGMP change controls and change requests for master data changes
  • Provide department representation on site projects
  • Coordinate and maintain all master data promptly within ERP ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Provide direct internal customer support to manufacturing, site planning, inventory control, quality assurance, quality control, global master data management, and IT
  • Create and run queries in ERP to periodically review and identify master data inconsistencies
  • Work closely with various business functional teams to resolve master data issues as needed while ensuring compliance and consistency of master data across business systems
  • Assist with continuous improvement of data management, resolve master data issues, link master data between systems and ensure quality, compliance, and consistency of master data
  • Tenacity to tackle and problem solve to see challenges through beyond solving the issue, but also identify and help fix the cause of the issue

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years experience as a Data Analyst
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly develop rapport and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to build trust and engagement across all levels of an organization, including executive, management and front-line staff
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic presentation development and delivery skills
  • Ability to provide on-call support in case of emergent issues
  • Ability to interpret / write technical documents
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/AD degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management, Business Management, or related field
  • ERP/MRP Systems (i.e., SAP, Oracle, etc.) Oracle preferred
  • Experience in pharma/med device/biotech or healthcare
  • Intermediate knowledge of cGMP regulations
