Supports administrative functions related to pre-employment/onboarding processes and HR-related functions for physicians under the Office of Professional Staff Affairs (OPSA). Performs clerical duties in processing requests and maintaining databases in support of physician employment.


Responsibilities:


  • Assists with coordinating pre-employment/onboarding activities for new physicians


  • Processes and manages intake of requests related to employee records within Workday and other department systems


  • Functions as liaison and provides customer support for internal customers related to physician employment information.


  • Acts as a liaison with vendors for physician relocation services


  • Performs clerical duties for the Administrative Director and greater OPSA team.


  • Other duties as assigned.


Key Job Responsibilities:


  • Support administrative functions related to professional staff pre-employment/onboarding processes and HR-related functions for staff employment processes.


  • Will also assist the OPSA, Administrative Director, and greater OPSA team with clerical and secretarial support.


  • The Staff Employment team serves as an HR operations function supporting the professional staff employment environment (hiring, onboarding, offboarding, role transitions, contract arrangements, FTE/comp changes, etc.), staff APR process, Staff Time Away (staff absence management), staff-related operational matters (payroll, expense approval, parking, IT, etc.) and supports Chief of Staff office (BOG/MEC, budget, expense and absence approval).


Education:


  • High School or GED required.


Certifications:

  • None required.


Complexity of Work:


  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.


  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.


Work Experience:

  • Minimum of three years experience coordinating and assisting with management functions and special projects; proficient with spreadsheets, word processing and database software.


Physical Requirements:


  • Requires extensive sitting and manual dexterity to perform work on a PC.


  • Typical physical demands include the ability to sit, stand or walk to other locations as needed.


  • Visual acuity to perform computer functions.


Personal Protective Equipment:


  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
