TThe Records Analyst I works under moderate supervision, assisting in the coordination of records, information management, and data management functions. This position creates and maintains computerized records and electronic tracking systems, and assists in the development and implementation of procedures for these systems. The Records Analyst I is required to provide excellent customer service, resolve problems in a timely manner, communicate effectively, and be a positive contributor to their County Department.
Examples of Duties
Maintains, stores, and archives records and documents required by public health grants and contracts.
Maintains accurate records and leads production of quarterly and annual reports.
Reviews public health records and data sources to determine the best KPIs for annual quality improvement reporting for awarded grants and contracts.
Collates and synthesizes public health data and records from multiple primary and secondary data sources.
Develops one pagers, presentations, and reports utilizing community and population health data.
Generates data visualizations and dashboards to display data and illustrate trends.
Assists in the development of survey instruments and assessments for primary data collection.
Responds to queries and data analysis requests by internal and external stakeholders.
Assists with developing grant-related data and record management processes and protocols.
Synthesizes records and data to help develop project related needs assessments.
Builds and maintains relevant data, metrics, and dashboards.
Performs project-related clerical and administrative tasks.
Regular and punctual attendance is required.
Performs other related duties as required.
High School Diploma or GED and a minimum three years of experience in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Bachelor's degree in Records Management, Library and Information Sciences Public Administration, Business Administration, or a directly related field preferred. Certified Records Information Manager (RIM), Certified Records Manager (CRM), and/or Local Government Archives and Records Administration (LGARA) Certificate preferred.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must not have any Class B misdemeanor or higher convictions or deferred adjudications.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Must be able to obtain a State of Texas driver's license within 90 days of employment.
This is a grant funded position that is anticipated to end June 30, 2024.
