Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION: Develops and implements marketing/sales plans to increase patient volume in EHC services. Develops strategy, planning, and implementation of marketing activities. Establishes and maintains a database of referring physicians relative to demographics, referral trends, and details related to other customers as appropriate. Facilitates relationships with community physicians and Emory physicians by direct communication to generate steerage of referral patterns and increase revenue into the system. Develop and implement Business to Business marketing/sales plans to target referring MDs and to resolve any clinical or operational issues which they encounter. The goal is to increase referring MDs satisfaction with The Emory Clinic. Develop the strategy and planning for and implement marketing activities including service audits, market research, market planning, project implementation and evaluation of activities. If appropriate, coordinate community outreach activities such as education and screenings, to promote EHC physicians into the community. Travel to and call upon targeted referring physicians (especially internal medicine, and family practice physicians) in order to build referral volumes and maintain existing relationships and improve their satisfaction with TEC patient care. Act as liaison to referring physicians to improve physician relations. Write quarterly sales plans, with documented research. Update these on a quarterly basis. Establish and maintain a database of referring physicians. Trend their volume, charge and payor mix data. Marketing information should include demographic knowledge of referring physician trends and details related to other customers as appropriate (i.e. EMS, referring MDs, corporations, etc). If appropriate, according to plan, coordinate collateral development that targets the referring physician. Develop mechanisms to measure the effectiveness and success rates of marketing activities, including ROI rates. Must create financial reports with quantitative measurements of results based on volume indicators on a regular basis. Results/accomplishments must be provided on a quarterly basis. If appropriate, coordinate community outreach activities such as education and screenings, to promote EHC physicians into the community. Present reports to the Marketing Team and the Operations Team (top leadership) on activities and results as needed



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in business or related field and three years experience or a Master's degree in business, public health, or Healthcare Administration. Must have previous experience writing and implementing marketing/sales plans or physician relations experience
