Inxeption is looking for a dynamic Accounts Payable Manager to join our Inxeption Team. This position reports to the Director of Accounting/Controller. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Accounts Payable Team and all functions of Accounts Payable
  • Accurately process vendor invoices daily in a timely manner, including but not limited to reviewing manual data entry
  • Follow company policies for accurate coding of business expenses primarily for overhead/operating expenses
  • Confirm approvals for payment are obtained as per company policies
  • Create AP batches, including appropriate backup
  • Maintaining orderly filing of AP records and vendor files
  • Respond and resolve vendor and employee concerns or questions via email and/or phone in a professional and responsive manner
  • Audit daily AP batches and uploads for completeness and accuracy as assigned
  • Process employee expense reports
  • Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and meet stringent month end deadlines
  • Responsible for training personnel on multiple systems for approving and submitting expenses
  • Contribute to the development of new or current accounting systems, programs and procedures
  • Participate in the ongoing development and establishment of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents for accounting policies and regulations
  • Help lead the implementation of best practices to simplify and standardize our business
  • Improving department processes to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Analyze information
  • Assist with providing supporting documentation for annual audit requests for current and previous years
  • Review reports for accuracy
  • Communicate with Accounts Payable Team regarding expectations and goals
  • Work closely with other team members and departments and communicate with other team members and departments to streamline processes
  • Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor



Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Business Administration required
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable as an individual contributor or relevant work experience preferred
  • Extensive understanding of computers, accounts payable automation, working hands-on with multiple information systems, and process improvement required
  • Understanding of bill.com
  • IPO experience a plus
