In this position, you will get to:

  • Be a strategic business partner to business groups to support the execution of business objectives
  • Implement initiatives to develop strategies and programs that help engage and retain a high performing workforce and enhance nVent’s culture
  • Advise business leaders on effective leadership practices to ensure accountability in managing their staff
  • Partner with functional experts on the establishment and facilitation of employee training needs including new employee orientation, leadership development and cross-training
  • Conduct investigations on employee complaints that could result in legal ramifications or organizational exposure; assess the severity, involve appropriate individuals and facilitate appropriate action based on established practice and relevant laws
  • Facilitate the performance management process and provide guidance to leaders on issues affecting morale, performance, personal and professional development and overall employee satisfaction
  • Implement and communicate HR programs, policies, and employee guidelines to achieve goals and fulfill legal requirements. Ensure consistency across the organization with all existing programs

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required

  • Previous experience:
    • 3+ years’ experience within the human resources field
    • HR coordinator experience preferred
    • Manufacturing experience preferred
