Summary


Manages and oversees the Facilities Management, EVS, FANS, and additional Ancillary Departments. Assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing and managing the department and staff to assure quality service on a 24-hour basis. Responsible for meeting and complying with TJC, CMS, and AHJs standards and regulations. Comply with corporate policy and procedures for managing supplies and equipment, promoting teamwork with physicians and all health care providers to maintain internal and external customer satisfaction, and appropriate resource management. Responsible for overall budgeting and maintaining appropriate staffing levels in the departments. Ensures survey readiness for departments as it relates to TJC, CMS, and AHJs. Prepares operating and capital budgets for submission to hospital administration.




Qualifications:



Education


Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience required


Preferred: MBA


Experience


Required: Ten years progressive management experience with at least five years management experience in a hospital/healthcare setting.
