Job Overview


The Store Maintenance Manager is responsible for rollout and daily operations of the deferred maintenance program. This role partners with all levels of Field Leadership and others to develop and manage the program and project framework from inception to completion for store locations. The Store Maintenance Manager works closely and collaborates with Store Operations, Construction and Property Management teams to ensure a consistent brand experience at retail store environments. This role leads and directs the work of members of the Deferred Maintenance Technician team.


  • Manage and execute all capital projects, capital programs, and asset management for stores

  • Oversee the development of store annual budgets and monitor periodic spend to budget performance

  • Manage the development and implementation of annual store facility maintenance standards in efforts to grow the brand

  • Identify opportunities to streamline repair and maintenance operations and execution of work to enhance the store experience

  • Assess and analyze spending on repair and maintenance and assist in the development of strategies, programs and initiatives to reduce spending without compromising store quality and standards

  • Assist in the development of store standards, store troubleshooting and other initiatives that service and support stores with repair and maintenance work

  • Partner with Store Team Leaders to develop communication strategies to best align with the store, district, regional leadership and store operations on shared initiatives, stores standards and cost reduction

  • Assist in the procurement and daily management of vendor resources for stores

  • Attend and participate in Property Development leadership meetings and specified training sessions

  • Effectively manage all internal technician resources assigned to the deferred maintenance program for stores and painting team

  • Manage the Deferred Maintenance Technician team. Manage associate performance, write performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback. As needed, delegate work and follow up with team members to confirm timely completion of tasks

  • Assist with hiring new team members, training new team members and acting as a mentor to coach and develop new teammates



  • 5-7 years of professional experience in Facilities Management/Property Management at a chain retail organization required

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • Two or more years of experience in a supervisory role preferred

  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record

  • Proficient in Manhattan software

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google platform (i.e. sites, slides, drive, docs, sheets)

  • Work primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard

potential. Sedentary, and frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
