Bradenton Outpatient Services is located in the Tampa Bay area along Florida's Gulf Coast. We are an Outpatient Cath Lab located in Blake Medical Center in West Bradenton, just miles from the beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. We provide diagnostic cardiac and peripheral imaging for Cardiologists and Vascular Surgeons. We also provide limited peripheral interventional cases; including balloon angioplasty, stenting, and several different atherectomy device interventions.
Our Cardiac Catheterization nurses are self-motivated with a strong commitment to patient safety and our code of conduct. They will be able to work well and efficiently with a variety of Diagnostic and Interventional physicians, along with our support staff of Cardiovascular Technicians, Paramedics and Medical Assistants. We are an Outpatient Cath Lab, providing pre- and post-care as well, with a typical patient stay of 4 to 6 hours. Our hours of operation vary depending on the block schedule for each day

Nursing Diploma or ASN required, BSN preferred
- Current Florida State Registered Nursing license
- Current BLS Certification from the American Red Cross (HCA chosen provider) OR American Heart Association is required
- & ACLS through American Heart Association required
- Current National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year RN experience preferred
- Prior Cath/EP Lab experience preferred but not required- willing to train experienced ICU/CVICU RN
- Prior experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech preferred but not required
- Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
