The Implementation Services Engineer is a pivotal member of the Implementation team, supporting the deployment of our platform for both new and existing customers. This person will work with Implementation, Sales, and Product Engineering to scope and validate implementation solutions requiring custom development or integrations. They will also work with Implementation and Customer Success to provide technical solutions for new and existing customers. Success in this role will rely on a combination of expertise on the SyncHR Platform and Methodology, strong discovery skills, technical proficiency, confidence working with customers, and a healthy obsession for quality and timely successful delivery.


  • Develop a detailed understanding of the capabilities of the SyncHR platform, architecture, and integrations to meet customer needs
  • Facilitate discovery and requirements analysis sessions with customers
  • Document requirements for technical solutions
  • Support Sales on quoting and drafting technical SOWs for all aspects of implementation
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams and provide expertise for third party solutions, integrations and API usage
  • Participate in technical aspects of customer implementation. Examples include, but are not limited to creating customization and integration points as well as assisting the Implementation team with other technical items such as bulk data integrations and API consulting
  • Effectively communicate technical matters related to implementation to customers and internal partners
  • Based on expert knowledge of the platform, provide strategy on how best to utilize the platform to support customers business and learning objectives
  • Leverage the SyncHR Methodology for helping customers adopt and extract value from SyncHR products
  • Partner with Training and Documentation teams to create\improve technical documentation around items such as the API, PubSub, JS, SQL
  • Accurately record task and project progress, including time recording

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years demonstrated experience with strong technical aptitude and skills
  • Ability to work independently and self-direct in a remote workforce environment
  • HCM experience preferred
  • SaaS software experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Must possess a positive attitude
  • Customer facing experience is a plus
