Skills & Background Required:

Previous experience working in a busy environment

Team player with ability to interact professionally with lawyers, clients and strategic partners

Ability to travel locally

Strong skills in proof-reading, spelling and grammar

Excellent communication skills with proficiency in writing and communicating in fluent English; ability to compose documents and emails in appropriate business style using correct grammar and spelling; ability to communicate clearly using proper grammar and diction

To perform the essential functions of the position, you must be able to be both mobile and stationary throughout the workday, have the ability to lift 20 pounds, have a valid driver license and operating vehicle, and be able to operate a computer and other equipment.

Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat

Key Responsibilities:

Provide general support to the office staff; keep office spaces organized and tidy

Organize electronic materials and maintain client files pursuant to systems and procedures

Edit, copy, scan and assemble documents; prepare US Mail and Federal Express packages

Maintain and organize Outlook Calendars, Mail and Contacts

Make and answer telephone calls with professionalism following protocols

Handle errands requiring local driving

Read, organize and summarize incoming mail

Provide a wide array of legal document and project support as needed by office staff
