Job Description


Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Accounts Payable Clerk position. The Accounts Payable Clerk processes AP invoices as assigned, scans and files Accounts Payable paperwork and performs general office tasks. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Entering invoice data into computers
  • Scans all correspondence relating to accounts payable and capture of corporate documents
  • Open, sort, date stamp, and deliver daily mail from post office and inter-store documents
  • Validate daily check runs with Docuware software and file previous days procesed invoices/refunds
  • Meter daily checks at days end and file retained check/voucher packets
  • Deliver weekly inter-store mail to warehouse per the truck loading schedule
  • Deliver daily local campus mail
  • Assist the receptionist in answering overflow calls, including covering morning/afternoon breaks and lunch
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary





Qualifications



  • Ability to perform multiple tasks with little supervision
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use fax machine, copy machine, telephone, and other basic office equipment
