Responsibilities:

Assists with maintenance and sterilization of endoscopy scopes. Assists under the direct supervision of the physician during the scoping procedures. Manipulates scopes per directions. Anticipates and sets up equipment and restocks suites according to RN and Physician needs, including gurneys and supplies. Efficiently turns over endoscopic exam rooms between cases. Assists with basic patient care.




Qualifications:

Education

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate

Experience

• 1 year of experience in Endoscopy preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
