The Enterprise Affordability, Analytics and Modeling team is a group of analyst and project managers that work on diverse sets of projects. These projects range from data analytics supporting a specific functional area to support and creation of lean command centers. Position Summary
The Principal Affordability Project Manager will oversee and lead the Results Ownership Center (ROC), a lean operating review that occurs weekly. This role will work directly with Senior Leadership and their delegates to ensure tactical our lean operating playbook is executed. This includes development and facilitation of leadership meetings and deliverables. Additionally, this Project Manager will help functional areas develop tactical implementation plan. In addition to ROC duties, this role will be the financial lead for strategic company wide initiatives including but not limited to affordability.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
A reasonable salary range is:
California Minimum: $ 129,000
California Maximum: $ 220,000
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and based on business needs.
Core Job Responsibilities
Manage Day to Day Tasks in support of Lean Command Centers: Includes developing timelines & schedules to deliver materials, developing and providing presentations to senior leadership,
Identifying and maintaining strong working relationships with all strategic programs and partners. Works with leaderships across the company to make sure actions are completed timely.
Work with Senior Leadership across multiple functional areas to create and drive strategic vision for initiatives benefiting our customers, workforce, and other partners.
Manage cross-functional projects to ensure tasks are being completing according to timelines and deadlines are met.
Lead Analytic Efforts in Support of Strategic Initiatives: direct a team of analyst to develop financial analytics that support companywide strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum:
BA/BS or equivalent experience required
Required: 10 years related experience
Desired:
Excellent project management skills and track record of on-time/on-budget initiatives
Ability to solve complex business problems through a blend of logical and creative thinking
Excellent interpersonal communication and quantitative skills
Ability to influence and get work done through others in the Organization
Intellectual curiosity and relentless continuous improvement
Ability to work independently with limited oversight
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience preparing materials for senior leadership
