Job Description

Provide technical support to the Bosch fuel cell research team for fuel cell testing and characterization. The intern responsibility includes operating/monitoring fuel cell test benches, processing and interpreting testing results and carrying out physical analysis. Additional responsibility includes developing methodology for particular measurements and developing lab scale CCM fabrication process.

Qualifications

Required Qualification:

  • Obtained or currently pursuing MS or Ph.D  in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences or related technical fields
  • Strong foundation on fuel cell electrochemistry
  • Experience with fuel cell testing equipment
  • Experience with catalyst coated membrane processing and fabrication
  • Familiar with data processing and interpretation
  • Be enthusiastic and able to collaborate in a team environment
  • Curious and passionate about learning and exploring
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into simple to understand, communicable ideas

Desired Qualification:

  • Hands on experience in PEFC testing hardware and equipment
  • Familiar with MEA and short stack assembly
  • Hands on experience with fuel cell testing hardware design
  • Experience with script coding, data analysis automation and interpretation
  • Publications to demonstrate past work in the fuel cell field
