YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Live Our Vision, Values and Beliefs every day
  • Set challenging and productive goals for the entire cross-functional team and keep them accountable
  • Strategize long and short term sales/margin growth for multiple departments
  • Develop and ensures execution of brand strategies
  • Strategically interprets and aligns consumer insight to all aspects of business
  • Drives and executes product assortment strategies to deliver sales and margin forecasts
  • Present product strategy/assortment to senior leadership
  • Drive calendar to meet critical dates and hold team accountable
  • Lead weekly & monthly financial review meetings, identifying corrective action necessary to maximize sales & margin
  • Actively participate in and accountable to the financial forecast of the business, partnering with planning leads
  • Initiate product development to capitalize on trends/consumer opportunities
  • Drive product/pricing execution and timely receipts with vendors
  • Manage as well as own details of the in season business and assortment management as part of a small team
OUR REQUIREMENTS
  • Be highly attuned to merchandising trends in the marketplace
  • Understand nuances in consumer behavior and competitive pressures
  • Proven ability to influence and persuade
  • Ability to engage and inspire a wide variety of partners, stakeholders, and team members
  • Strong innovation and collaboration skills are required
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral, required
  • Ability to communicate merchandising direction in a compelling manner
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Experience leading and inspiring a successful merchandising team
  • Bachelors in related discipline (10+ years of combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree)
