Allen Door Company is a third generation family business serving Bucks and Montgomery Counties since 1977.  Providing installation and repair services to both residential and commercial customers, we have established ourselves as a quality product and customer service-oriented business.  As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for a hard working, self-motivated and encouraging individual to join our team in the role of operations coordinator with the future potential of operations manager.  No prior door experience is required but a mechanical aptitude and understanding is a plus.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Operations Coordinator is to manage and oversee the coordination of scheduling, provide technician support and jobsite oversight of all installations, repairs and service work.

Once the job is sold, the Operations Coordinator is the direct contact for any of the for any of the homeowners questions, concerns or problems they may come across during the duration of the job.  The Operations Coordinator is responsible for effectively communicating with the client regarding schedule and processing of the job as well as follow up after completion to ensure customer satisfaction.  It is the Operations Coordinator’s responsibility to set goals and equip team members with the knowledge and material to complete the job effectively and efficiently.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients to schedule repair and installation services for technicians.
  • Provide assistance to field technicians with technical and physical support as needed.
  • Assess, determine and provide resolution to any job related issues.
  • Review weekly schedule to coordinate jobs based on need and priority.
  • Review of inventory and ordering of materials as required to maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Oversight of warehouse operations, taking deliveries and restocking items as necessary.
  • Receipt of deliveries and overall management of the warehouse operations.
  • Research and implement an efficient warehouse inventory management system.
  • Develop and implement safety training and proper protocols for field technicians.
  • Develop and institute a technical training plan for technicians.

  • Customer service oriented
  • Able to operate a fork lift 
  • Licensed to drive in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Capable of lifting over 75 pounds
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes as the need arises
