How You'll Make A Difference:

  • Leads in the organization in the coordination of employee activities and events, as well as any support needed during the activities or events.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with departments to ensure the success of events.
  • Planning event details and aspects as well as coordinating with others on event plans.
  • Ensures required staff and materials are available and prepared for events or activities.
  • Assisting with the communication of events to Associates and building hype/interest levels.
  • Managing events and addressing potential problems that may arise.
  • Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events.
  • Evaluates the success of each activity, event, or outing and identifies opportunities for improvement in the future.
  • Remaining under budget with all costs for Associate events.

We're Looking For:

  • 2-3 years of related and relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Prior theme park or service industry experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Thorough understanding of event planning practices and techniques.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with others.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently of constant supervision.
  • Flexibility with scheduling and an ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Ability to provide exceptional service when interacting with Associates, coworkers and others.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and rapidly changing office/theme park environment.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
