Independence Title Company in Austin, TX (Bastrop Office), a wholly owned subsidiary of Title Resource Group (TRG) is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer. TRG is a full-service title, settlement, underwriting and vendor management services company serving real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions.

The Escrow Officer is responsible for:

  • Working closely with clients to accomplish a closed transaction in a timely, efficient and error-free manner.
  • Preparing Closing Disclosure (CD) and/or HUD1 Settlement Statement and all other closing documents necessary for the transaction.
  • Having working knowledge of frontend and backend processing, including funding.
  • Meeting with clients to execute closing and complete necessary paperwork
  • Participate in marketing and entertainment, working with Sales Reps to build our customer base

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as Licensed Escrow Officer/Closer
  • Must apply successfully for Escrow Officer License, if not current
  • Escrow file processing experience (A-Z) required
  • Technical knowledge of the closing process is required
  • Comfortable with marketing in order to build business
  • Very comfortable with technology
  • Microsoft Suite proficient
