Responsibilities: Demonstrates understanding of principles of infection control in an ambulatory OSHA/JCAHO regulated healthcare facility. Administers first aid. Obtains health history. Prepares patient and assists provider with evaluation and procedures. Carries out provider’s orders promptly and accurately, seeks clarification as needed, informs providers of changes in the Associate’s condition. Considers age of Associate with regard to minors and consent for treatment and record release. Participates in efforts to provide Associate education. Provides education and acts as liaison between Associate and provider to assure understanding. Documents all care of Associates. Skilled in nursing assessments and the nursing process.

(Licenses, Certifications)

  • Required: RN Licensure


  • Required: High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of accredited school program leading to NYS licensure to practice as an RN.


  • Prefer minimum of two years experience in outpatient and/or occupational health setting. Use proper grammar, accurately spell words and understands medical terminology.
