POSITION SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of funding related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, efficient and resourceful. The ability to interact and communicate with staff (at all levels) and title companies in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, positive, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Gather daily purchase advices from investor websites and complete the daily spreadsheet
  • Upload paid report to the Bank and monitor to ensure accurate application
  • Deliver paid report to accounting for reconciliation
  • Transfer servicing with MERS on all loans purchased each day
  • Input MERS numbers in each file into LOS system once complete
  • Insert cleared date and loan number into LOS system once loan is purchased
  • Obtain the Warehouse Line Tracking Report from LOS system daily to monitor what loans are to be cleared
  • Reconcile with bank report
  • Monitor all investor websites for suspended loans
  • Clear all suspense items within three business days
  • Upload all suspense conditions to investor sites and continue to monitor
  • Performing other duties as assigned


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • One to five years' experience with Investor Relations in the mortgage industry
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, must also be 18 years or older
  • Sound judgment, ability to think critically, including the ability to evaluate facts and data to draw conclusions, determine the downstream impact of decisions and associated risks
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment; strong sense of urgency and responsiveness
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong detail orientation and highly organized
  • Demonstrate patience and professionalism when interacting with both internal and external customers
  • Ethical, with a commitment to company values
  • Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel required
