What does a great Proposal Specialist do?

Be on the leading edge of helping to securing client relationships for one of the world’s most admired companies for five straight years. Become a trusted advisor in pricing matters to our sales team for your specific product set as an integral part of a growing team, organization and company.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Sales, Account Management, Product Management, Finance and Contract Admin to create a renewal or migration deal to existing Fiserv AP’s.
  • Become a subject matter expert on pricing for a particular product/product set.
  • Interface with various internal departments subject matter experts to coordinate information needed.
  • Support of Account Executives/Sales in pursuit of new business opportunities.
  • Ensure Proposal Pricing responses are current, accurate and complete and of high quality before releasing to distribution.
  • Submittal of Pricing Proposals on time and with the highest quality. Ensure all Corporate and Business Units processes are followed.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business, sales support or related role
  • Excellent business relationship building skills
  • Ability to organize activities and handle multiple projects simultaneously with effective and timely follow-up
  • Ability to write/communicate clearly and persuasively regarding managerial and technical information
  • Must be adaptable/flexible to changing configurations and strategies
  • Excellent verbal, written and group communication skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Additional Skills/Knowledge:

  • Previous experience in the financial services industry environment a plus
  • Previous Proposal Pricing experience a plus

Travel required: Percentage/frequency of travel <10%
