MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN



Description


Outpost is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for performing day to day maintenance tasks in our rental properties to ensure our standards of quality and the safety and enjoyment of our guests and homeowners.



Responsibilities


Perform preventative and routine maintenance tasks in all Outpost properties (ex. touch up paint, grout repairs, replacing light bulbs, furniture assembly, repairing window treatments, and more)


Assist in checking and troubleshooting electrical systems such as HVAC controls and filters, television sets, and lighting systems


Refurbish furniture and fixtures and common areas such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, and counters


Identify problems and/or repairs throughout the properties that are necessary to complete


Install new equipment such as TVs and other various appliances


Maintain the fire, carbon monoxide, smoke, and other safety systems within the properties


Communicate effectively across all departments to provide details of all repairs and tasks on a daily basis




Required Qualifications

Certification and/or experience in building/carpentry and/or maintenance related fields required


Can quickly learn how to troubleshoot new equipment and respond to urgent maintenance needs of any kind


Must be able to receive instructions and communicate progress of work assignments.

Based in/around Jackson, WY.



Preferred Qualifications

Have a wide skill set that encompasses multiple trades such as basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall



Skills


A self-starter with a high attention to detail and excellent time management/organizational skills


Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Basic computer skills: how to use a mobile phone to read work orders, track work notifications, log performed maintenance work, etc.
