We are looking for a full-time Business Systems Analyst to focus on improving current operations and procedures throughout the organization by leveraging new and existing technologies. This is an in-office position. The Business Systems Analyst works closely with the Business Systems Team, Business Systems Manager, Director of IT and overall Bank to understand information and systems needs to implement processes improvements across the organization. This position collaborates with other teams to identify and implement new systems and solutions throughout the bank.

Main duties include:

  • Analyzes, researches and makes recommendations to implement process improvements across the organization.
  • Reviews competitive technology solutions and makes recommendations for technology solution changes.
  • Works with departments and business users, studying current practices and makes recommendations to design and implement efficiencies.
  • Recommends controls by identifying problems and compiles objectives for improving and streamlining company processes and procedures.
  • Works with Business Systems Manager and Director of IT to plan and implement effective testing processes to ensure that deliverables adhere to standards.
  • Collaborates with departments and business users to manage implementation, training options and support.
  • Aids the Business System Manager and internal stakeholders with projects and implementation progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions.
  • Coordinates with external vendors and other operations personnel to manage projects.
  • Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
  • Provides reference material for users by writing and maintaining user documentation.
  • Works with the Training and Development Specialist to train users. Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

The strong candidate is an effective team player who has a solution-based mindset. Candidates must have the ability to work with various teams across the Bank, have strong analytical skills and a fine attention to detail. Minimum education and experience requirements are an Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
