- HTS code validation & maintenance. Point of contact for USA/Canada brokerage regarding exclusions, duty drawback, and HTS code changes.
- Work closely with production planning regarding ex-factory date changes, vessel and/or customs delays.
- Weekly reminder to book reports sent to vendors
- Approve bookings with freight forwarder and provide info on hot shipments
- Build all advanced shipping notices in SAP for USA/Canada
- Route shipments from local suppliers to USA/Canada DC
- Ensure shipping docs are accurate and match for customers clearance. Issue charge backs to vendors when discrepancies are found
- Work with freight forwarder/FedEx/UPS on ocean/air quotes and troubleshooting as needed
- Ensure delivery dates in SAP are accurate, update dates when needed
- Issue weekly receiving’s reports to all regions, identifying key product delays for product/marketing/sales teams.
- Issue Weekly Warehouse container appointment in WMS.
- Provide details to vendor regarding damaged/tampered cartons/containers. Charge backs issued accordingly.
- Work closely with freight forwarder on reporting (on time booking, container utilization, Quarterly Business Reviews)
- Build/validate month end in transit inventory reports for finance/accounting
- Ad hoc Export coordination with Marketing, Intercompany DC Transfer
- Quarterly CBM forecast provided to freight forwarder
- Monthly Freight Invoice Validations
- Monthly freight spends reports comparing standard freight cost against actuals/LY
- Maintain transit timetable in SAP based on port of origin and final destination
Expected Hours of Work:
- Full time, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week
Travel:
- Minimal travel required
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong Excel skills
- Clear concise communication skills
- Prior experience in a logistics/traffic role
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
- Degree w/ emphasis in supply chain/logistics
- SAP (ERP) and/or High Jump (WMS) experience a plus
- Action sports/apparel industry experience
