KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Rise PML to join our Advisory organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership and guide coordinated tactical action plans of the infrastructure/operational functions supporting assigned practice, based on changing business needs, objectives and strategies; partner with national practice leadership to develop and monitor go to market strategy for national practice
  • Develop communication plans facilitating change management for national practice operations initiatives; identify and/or drive practice-wide, national practice-wide and national strategic initiatives or projects; identify national practice operational best practices and directs the implementation and execution of such on a national practice-wide basis
  • Analyze relevant practice metrics to ensure strategic objectives are met and make recommendations to leadership regarding strategic and tactical operational changes that can influence achievement of objectives; develop and lead the implementation of action steps to achieve optimal business results based on market trends
  • Directly manage two or more CSS process support functions and provide strategic direction and oversight for the function; supervise other Operations Directors; team with Human Resources on the process and delivery of annual Performance Management and Salary Review processes
  • Work with national practice training on creation of the annual training plan, including budget and approvals; monitor Encore budgets and approve spending on behalf of the NMP/COO; linkage to national practice Operations Services thru definition of administrative support requirements and resulting strategy, including ongoing assessment of needs; team with national practice Finance and Accounting to provide financial support, including monthly and YTD analysis, creation of operating plan budgets, oversight of billings, mid-year and year end closes, review on P&L statements, expenses trends, T&E reviews, etc
  • Develop and drive internal communications, including annual partner meeting, monthly leadership calls, quarterly MSO, etc


Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten years of recent experience in one or more business related areas including Finance, Human Resources, Resource Management, Marketing or general business operations preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or related field
  • Ability to work independently and provide guidance and strategic advice to executive level management across all practice operational areas; prior experience as a direct supervisor for a staff consisting of different professional levels, including management
  • Past experience reading and analyzing Operating Statements (P&L)
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook; basic knowledge or experience with Microsoft Access, Customer Relationship Databases and Resource Management/scheduling tools
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical and negotiating skills required
