Job Description

The Retail Payment Services Representative is responsible for performing debit card processes to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department through accurate and timely execution of tasks, research, troubleshooting, and by providing excellent service and support to members and employees.

Core Job Requirements/Outcomes 

  • Maintain internal and external member satisfaction by performing recurring debit related processes timely while assisting members and employees through multiple communication channels with accuracy while maintaining departmental standards and service levels.
  • Demonstrate professional communication skills through all interactions including but not limited to Live Chat, TEAMs messages, email and phone.
  • Participate in departmental training as needed and work to identify and fill knowledge gaps.  

Other Essential Functions

  • Contribute as an effective team member by completing all tasks and assignments in a timely manner.
  • Achieve individual and team metrics set by department, specific to wrap codes and phone availability.
  • Periodically practice daily, weekly, monthly job responsibilities by cross training to maintain accurate understanding of debit related processes. Recommend solutions and procedural changes to improve efficiencies in existing processes.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:  High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Job Experience:  Minimum one year of member service experience preferably in a Contact Center environment is preferred.

Software Skills:  Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word and Teams.

Physical Demands:  Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 10 pounds with accommodations.

Work Conditions:  Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with fluctuating volumes.

Other:  Perform additional duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the department and the organization. This includes the possibility of being assigned temporarily to other locations.
