Piper Companies is currently seeking a QC Microbiology Analyst for a pharmaceutical company in the Boston, MA area.
Responsibilities for the QC Microbiology Analyst include:
- Perform environmental monitoring and utility samples of the facility
- complete various microbiological testing procedures of environmental monitoring and utility samples of the facility
- Environmental monitoring adhering to GMPs
- Plate reads and transfers
- Ability to perform aseptic technique
- Operation of an autoclave.
- Inform supervisor/manager upon observing OOS, OOL, or generation of deviations
Qualifications for the QC Microbiology Analyst include:
- Experience in molecular biology or in a QC enviroment
- Experience following GLP and GMP’s
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or other science-related field
- The ability to work in a high-speed team environment
Compensation for the QC Microbiology Analyst includes:
- Salary Range: $20-50/hr
